Originally bought it for the leather and few other goodies,but drove so well seemed a shame to just scrap it.
Still got a few things to do to it yet.

Yea, thats the euro plaid, on E30's everywhere but here.

Some early year E30's had tan houndstooth/tan leather or grey houndstooth/black leather in the US though, snagged mine from an '85-'86 325i

I love how all the Europeans drool over the higher spec leather we get stock and we drool over shite fabric due to its rarity over here. True that its warmer in winter and cooler in summer and holds you better. I just love observing these type of things. Rarity creates desire for it sometimes no matter what conventionally is considered "better spec". I like the cloth interior too. Looks 3ur0 to the b0n3. ;)
